Once again, The Festival Mil•lenni musical proposal is back in Barcelona with an eclectic program for different publics. This year reaches its 11th edition- avoiding any kind of label and it gathers a motley list of names such as Woody Allen, Maceo Parker, Russian Red, Michael Bolton, Kevin Costner, Matthew Herbert, Fangoria, Benjamin Biolay or Joan Baez, among others.

Festival Milleni Barcelona

Up-and-coming musical talents, bold and risky initiatives, acclaimed artists…all of them will be on Palau de la Música’s stage, an amazing place that will receive the most of the performances, besides L’ Auditori and the Liceu. The concerts schedule combines famous figures addressed to an adult audience, with more alternative and Indy offers.

A list of must see concerts
Let’s suggest a list of performances that you can’t miss at all:

-Lila Downs. This Mexican singer also will be on a Spanish tour, introducing his first live album.

-Woody Allen & His New Orleans Jazz Band, March 28. The most hypochondriac film director comes back to Barcelona with his band and his inseparable clarinet.
-Benjamin Biolay, April 7. The reigning genius of modern French pop has found success as a pop star, songwriter, arranger and film composer.
-Maceo Parker, April, 8. It would be a sin if you miss the concert of this jazz and funk master who played in James Brown’s band for 25 years.

If you have planned to visit the city in those days, hurry up and get a hold of your tickets as soon as possible! Regarding accommodation, don’t worry about it: book Apartments in Barcelona, a very comfortable way to stay in the city. Good music is awaiting you!
