Travelling is one of the best things we can do and it’s ideal for everyone: young and old, singles and couples or just friends… travelling is always a pleasure! The problem comes when you don’t know what to do with your pet, so why leave it at home? Take your pet with you on your vacations!

travel-and-pets

Every year, thousands of heartless people abandon their pets when they travel on their summer holidays because they have nowhere to leave them. The same happens in a lesser measure during the Christmas holidays. Now that the white holidays are just around the corner, holidays and travel are in our minds. Many people move from one point of the world to the other to visit their relatives or just to enjoy a few fun and relaxing days.

So don’t leave anything to chance. A vacation should be planned in advance and if you want to bring your pet with you, you’ll need a few days to take care of all its documentation and get it in order: do not forget its health and immunization card, the chip, the collar with your address and a contact telephone number and take out some liability insurance. It sounds complicated, but it doesn’t take more than a day if you have everything in order!

The rest is all a breeze. For example, in Spain, according to the Affinity Foundation (dedicated to promoting the role of pets in society), 22% of all hotels allows pets (the percentage increases significantly in other tourist resorts such as apartments or rural properties). A guide has collected a total of 3,200 hotel addresses, 2,200 rural houses and more than 1,000 camping sites where pets are allowed. This adds up to a total of 6,400 resorts for pets!

Seville is the perfect city to travel with your dog or your cat. Surrounded by the Guadalquivir River, this is one of the most authentic cities of Spain. Your dog will be able to run freely across its enormous parks, like Maria Luisa Park, which has more than 400.000 square metres of greenery. It can also run a have a great time on the banks of the river. Eating and dining out will not be a problem either because it is traditional in Seville to eat tapas in the terraces of the bars. Your pet can rest by your side while you enjoy a cold beer and the famous Andalusian gazpacho.

Do not leave your pet at home this year; take it with you when on holidays. Is it not part of the family? You will all enjoy a perfect holiday together! And of course, for the best accommodation rent Apartments in Seville. And now you just have to enjoy the Andalusian capital.
