Man Offers 40 Goats and 20 Cows for Chelsea Clinton’s Hand In Marriage
This is not the first time that Godwin Kipkemoi Chepkurgor, the president of Kenya, offers a dowry of 40 goats and 20 cows for Chelsea Clinton’s hand in marriage. Chepkurgor, who now is 39 years old, had already submitted the same offer to the Clinton family in 2000, but unfortunately they had to decline it. But only a few years ago the guy tried it again… Why doesn’t he give up so easily?
The offer was exactly the same: 40 goats and 20 cows for the hand of Chelsea Clinton. In these times of crisis, the poor man can’t offer any more! If the first time the offer remained in the air, this time Chelsea’s mother has said that her daughter is free to decide what to do, and that only she will make the final decision. And what will happen if he adds a hen to the offer? Will it be the wedding of the year?
Since his first petition, nine years ago, Chepkurgor has not lost any time because in 2006 he got married to Grace, a classmate. However, he is still in love with Clinton and he wants to marry her, because in Africa polygamy is allowed and his wife agrees with the idea. It seems that the ‘would be’ suitor will not be intimidated and he will continue in his quest for the hand of Chelsea Clinton.
