Nightlife in Málaga

September 21, 2009 By: malaga Category: Malaga

Have you ever been to Andalusia? It’s a region full of passion, emotion, love and good vibrations where you can enjoy a lot of entertainment along with an old and traditional culture. One of the most beautiful Andalusian cities is without a doubt Málaga, a nice historical city where there’s always a lot going on there in summer as well as in winter. Málaga is the perfect example for some of the best nightlife in Spain. Staying out until late in the bars, eating the famous tapas (appetizers of delicious Spanish food) on the romantic terraces or having some drinks in bars is all part of the very deep-rooted tradition in Málaga like flamenco (famous gipsy dance in that region) does in Andalusia.

The whole city is full of tapas-bars where you can spend your time until late. Probably you’ll find it strange, but as well as during the night you can see kids playing around there in the bars: in Málaga just about everyone turns into a night person. The city offers you numerous discotheques and night clubs, like for example the famous discoteca Anden, discoteca Kiu, discoteca Latina, etc. It’s your choice where you go. It just depends on your taste in music and which ambience do you want to discover.

The area where you can find the main nightlife are the districts El Palo, La Malagueta, el Pedragalejo, etc. El Palo was the old fishing village, but throughout history it has been slowly but completely transformed. Now there is a long seaside promenade with a lot of restaurants, bars, typical Mediterranean terraces and an amazing sea view. The weather is always mild and pleasant which creates an enchanting atmosphere perfect for spending some lovely days there.

Malageta is a modern district where you can find huge buildings, shopping centres and fashionable stores. It’s the area with the most people partying from one bar to another accompanied by ice cold sangria and hot music. Besides, you will be surprised by the famous Marisquerías (seafood restaurants and bars) which are the contrast to all the modern fashion clubs there.

Pedragalejo is another district of the main part of Malaga’s nightlife. Apart from the delicious dishes and wines, you can choose between the most incredible clubs of the city. Lots of party people, shows and live concerts are waiting for you. Rent the best apartments in Malaga and discover one of the most beautiful cities in Andalusia.
