Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week: An Unprecedented Event

All the fashion victims get ready! If you missed the first part of the Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week in February, don’t worry because the Spanish capital will delight you with the second part in September. Between 18th and 22nd September you can dive into the most glamorous fashion world. Do you dare?
Following the tremendous success of the last addition, this time Cibeles Fashion Week holds its 50th edition with much illusion. The event, organized by IFEMA, will provide some intense days related to new fashion trends. Countless famous designers, as well as lesser known artists, will present their creative collections for next spring-summer season.
The main window of the Spanish fashion has a symbolic call to be considered one of the most important international catwalks. A total of 47 parades in which 35 new designers will present their collection in the ego catwalk will be pre realized. The EGO catwalk is a space devoted to the young designers and their creations – this time for the new spring-summer season. In addition, the spectacular parades of Adolfo Domínguez and Roberto Verino will transport us to the past with their collections filled with the 80s and the 90s glamour. Also the new creations of Ricardo Andrez, José Castro, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, José Miró, Kina Fernández, Alma Aguilar and Anke Schlöder, among others, will be shown. Besides the vibrant shows, the prestigious L’Oreal Awards for the best designers, collections and models will be presented.
The current edition continues the innovative Cibeles catwalk model which has been introduced in 2008. This is a dynamic, global and wide catwalk, which represents the main goal of the Fashion Week in Madrid: to promote the Spanish design in the international fashion market. Last year organizers surprised us with two new parade rooms, Cibeles and Neptune, as well as with the creation of the Cibelespacio area increasing the occupied surface in 14,000 square meters. Besides the parades, you can also enjoy the different style of music live concerts, as well as other activities related to fashion, or doing some shopping and much more!
