Summer is coming to an end and although it doesn’t seem like good news for most of us, it is for the world of football which begins a new season full of promise along with lots of emotion in the international competitions. Inter Milan has a rejuvenated team that offers a lot of promise in the coming season.

Inter Milan has complete one of the best transfer operations this summer with the sale/exchange of Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The blue and black stripes of Inter Milan are ready to defend their title of Italian champions although Jose Mourinho would like to complete the team by signing another winger. The Portuguese manager has already a few ideas: Sneijder and Deco but it seems there may be things that would hinder a move to Inter Milan. According to Sette Gold, Mourinho would like to sign Julio Baptista whose nickname is “The Beast”, currently at AS Roma after completing a season at Real Madrid. The 27 year old Brazilian has changed shirts no less than 5 times in 9 years!

Alter signing Diego Milito (Genoa), Lucio (Bayern Munich), Kerlon (Chievo Verona), Emiliano Viviano (Bresca), Riccardo Meggiorini (Cittadella), Samuel Eto’o (FC Barcelona) and Thiago Motta (Génova), Inter Milan is on the lookout for a forward. Forwards that fit the profile are Ederson (Lyon), Marek Hamsik (Naples), Rafael van der Vaart (Real Madrid), Ivan Rakitic (Schalke 04) and Deco (Chelsea), but in the end their efforts seem to be concentrated on Wesley Sneijder (25 year old from Real Madrid). A negotiation has already been underway concerning the loan of the player with an option to buy clause of around 5 - 8 million Euros.
There are still a few players that could find themselves at Inter Milan though; Gourcuff who plays for Bordeaux is one of the favourites although Jean-Louis Triaud doesn’t want to part with him. Maybe a cheque for 25 million Euros could help him change his mind!

If Inter’s efforts for Wesley Sneijder do not produce fruit, the club will think about Jérémy Menez, a 22 year old who is currently at AS Roma and whose contract finishes in 2012.

Today’s inter Milan consists of great players like Marco Materazzi, Javier Zanetti, Patrick Vieira, Samuel Eto’o, and Dejan Stankovi?.To see these great stars in the Giuseppe Meazza Studium which seats 85,700 fans, come to this economical and beautiful Italian city and rent some of the best apartments in Milan so you can enjoy your stay to the full.
