Madrid For Children

Many confused dads and moms prefer to stay at home because they do not know what to do with their children, who do not handle the arduous tourist days. To travel with children can be complicated, but if you plan your trip ahead, you can organize the perfect holidays for the little princes. In fact, there are many cities that offer special tourist programs for children as Madrid, where the most educational and funny activities will delight the most demanding children.

The key to keep children entertained is to have them occupied and to ensure that they are having a great time. And what kind of things are the one that kids more enjoy? Maybe it is the fantasy world. A world make of stories. And speaking of stories, the first stop we should do in Madrid is in the Little Perez Mouse house museum. "Little Perez Mouse lived in Arenal Street, in Charles Prast basements, in front of a big pile of Gruyere cheese...", tells a commemorative plaque placed there. Now the kids send letters to his home and even send him their teeth!

After this emotive visit, the next trip could be to the Madrid Zoo-Aquarium. The animals live in real reproductions of their natural habitat spread over 20 hectares land. This zoo has a great Aquarium, specializes in tropical marine life; a Dolphinarium, with a capacity for 3,000 people; and an Ornithonarium with the most exotic birds of prey. In addition, the Zoo-Aquarium allows children to have fun learning through interactive and educational visits. Every day, they can attend to the dolphins, seals and sea lions exhibitions, plus to the birds of prey demonstrations.

And to discover the height of Madrid there is nothing better than to take children to the cable car. This is the perfect attraction to enjoy of the best Madrid's views 40 meters high: you'll see the Debod Temple, the Plaza España and Plaza de Castilla skyscrapers, the Real Palace and much more!

After this dizzy visit, you can go to one of the museums that Madrid holds. Sometimes it is an impossible task to convince children that museums could be funny, but in Madrid all the museums offer didactic activities that engage children. For example, the Prado museum, the Thyssen museum, the Contemporary museum. You can also visit the Wax Museum, where they will see the most popular celebrities and the main world history characters.

The whole family can enjoy of a perfect day in Madrid theme park or in the recently inaugurated Warner theme park.

Finally, for nature lovers there are two required stops: the new Educative Garden of de Mediterranean Forest in the National Museum of Natural Sciences, where children will discover the diversity and richness of the Madrid's forest; and the Planetarium in the Tierno Galvan Park, where kids will learn astronomy and science.

Who said that travelling with children is complicated? Not in Madrid! Look after the perfect accommodation and choose an Apartment in Madrid for your holidays to make your children feel at home.
